Primary School Level 3 Assessment

The Level 3 Assessment covers mathematics studies that include Year 5 (Grade 5) through Year 6 and in some schools or school systems, early Year 7.

As schools and teachers differ greatly in the amount of material that they plan or are able to cover in the school years, we have designed our assessment for the later primary school years to detect possible gaps that may have developed in understanding. 

Our goal with this Level 3 Assessment is to determine how solid Year 5 mathematics have become, how well prepared a student is to enter Year 6 and to reveal how well prepared the student is to enter Year 7.
